Marvel Avengers Alliance

Marvel Avengers Alliance is an online role-playing game that is available free-to-play on Facebook, on your mobile device, and also has a non-Facebook portal to play without a Facebook account.

For purposes of this article, I will be referencing the Facebook version of Marvel Avengers Alliance.

Starting July 11, 2013, Red Hulk is available to recruit for 135 Command Points.

Is Red Hulk worth it?

Yes. Red Hulk is a hero that needs to be on your Marvel superhero roster.

Red Hulk's Biography

As stated in Marvel Avengers Alliance:

"Major 'Thunderbolt' Ross's obsession with destroying the Hulk led him to undergo gamma ray treatments himself, transforming him into the fearsome Red Hulk. With all of the Hulk's strength, plus energy-absorption, and heat generation, he went mad with power and attempted to rule the country. After realizing that he had become what he hated most, he now seeks redemption as an Avenger."

Red Hulk's Moves

Red Hulk's moves are:

  1. Searing Smash
  2. Bunker Buster
  3. Bulwark
  4. Gamma Bomb

Red Hulk's PVP Advantages vs. Disadvantages

Red Hulk has a very high base Attack at 846, and a high base Defense at 775, and a high base Stamina at 4228. The downside is that Red Hulk has a low base accuracy and evasion, both at 564.

Yikes! That's pretty low.

Well, you probably need to bring up the Accuracy, but just put some Refined Reactive Chaotic ISO-8 Crystals on him, and you can bring those stats up.

The move that you really want to unlock is the Gamma Bomb at level 9. This move puts every imaginable debuff on the opposing side including Radiation. If you want to take Red Hulk into PVP battle, get him to at least level 9 first.

PVP Tip: If you allow Red Hulk to overheat in battle, he will be vulnerable to attack. Try using the bunker buster move, and it will lower his overheat rating.

Red Hulk is Pretty Cool

I have been saving up Command Points to recruit Red Hulk. He is a Tactician, and every level he gains adds to your PVP Health stats.

He is one of the new Avengers and overall a good asset for your superhero roster. I might even argue that he is better than the Green Hulk original on Marvel Avengers Alliance. Plus, Red Hulk original just looks cooler than Green Hulk original.

Ultimately, there is no way around the fact that you need Red Hulk, and you can almost count on the next Special Ops Mission to require Red Hulk as a deploy in order to get to the Elite fight.

Red Hulk is the Real Deal

If you haven't noticed, the Red Hulk eats his Wheaties. He has muscle upon muscle of pure heat-absorbing mass, and is not going to let Servo Guards get in his way of the boss fight at the end of each chapter.

If you recruit Red Hulk in Marvel Avengers Alliance, you will not regret it.

Red Hulk is a character that you don't want to face often, but when you do, be sure to bring your tranquilizer darts. He will not go down without a fight.
