Toralei Stripe Dolls From Monster High - Where To Get Them

Updated on February 5, 2013

On this page we are going to be taking a look at all the Toralei Stripe dolls released from Monster High. We will tell you about the new Power Ghouls Toralei doll and give you the release date for this, plus we will tell you where you can get your hands on other Toralei Stripe Dolls. If you are a fan of Monster High and you like the character Toralei then this page should be just what you are looking for.

When Monster High first became popular there were just a few well known characters that we were introduced to. Names such as Draculaura, Frankie Stein and Cleo De Nile are very well known when it comes to Monster High, but over the years there have been several other ghouls that we have been introduced to. Once such ghoul is Toralei Stripe who first made an appearance early in 2011. So before we look at the dolls, let’s tell you a little bit more about the character.

The Original Toralei Doll

Toralei Stripe Of Monster High

So as we mentioned our first introduction to Toralei came early 2011 and she was introduced in the episode Scream Building. Since then she has popped up in a number of other cartoons and although she is still not seen as one of the main characters she is one that we are getting more and more familiar with. As with some of the other well known ghouls this character is based on a Werecat. She is said to be fifteen years old and she has a bubbly infectious personality. As like many of the other Monster High students Toralei has her very own pet, this is a small Sabre Tooth Tiger called Sweet Fangs. This is a baby tiger and you often see her cuddled up with Toralei as she looks extra soft and cuddly.

So now you know a little bit about the character, what about the dolls? Well currently there are only two Toralei Stripe dolls available. We will talk about the second one in a while but first of all the original one. This was released late 2011 as part of the Campus Stoll line of dolls. In this line there are also Operetta, Clawdeen, Nefera De Nile, Meowlody and Howleen. None of these dolls are all that easy to get hold of but the Toralei one seems to be very rare indeed.

The doll comes with a diary and a little figure of Sweet Fangs, the doll is dressed in a dark red dress with a little black jacket. This is a very nice doll and extremely collectable due to the fact that it is very hard to find anywhere in the shops. If you want to get hold of this one your best option is to take a look online.

Toralei Stripe As Cat Astrophe

The New Power Ghouls Toralei Doll

In recent times it seems as though Toralei has become a more popular character at Monster High. So Mattel who are the company behind the dolls have decided to release a second version of the doll. This is being brought out in the Power Ghouls line which also includes Spectra, Clawdeen and Frankie. Each ghoul is dressed up as a superhero and comes with a brilliant little costume. Toralei Stripe comes with a super hero alias of Cat Astrophe. Of the four new dolls we think she is probably the best. Her character is based on Cat Woman and this is translated really well when you look at the doll.

So for this one Toralei is wearing a red and black cat suit with long black boots. She wears her hair down and also has a little black mask on. Her tail comes out the back of her suit and everything about her looks really good. Along with this one you get a brush for her hair and a little black doll stand which is often standard issue with most of the Monster High dolls. When it comes to a release date for this doll we are expecting it to be early in 2013. The Spectra and Clawdeen dolls are already in the stores and we expect Frankie and Toralei to soon start appearing as well.

Fans of Toralei should be eager for the release date of this new dolls as it really does look impressive. As it can be so hard to find the original Toralei doll this one is likely to sell very well. Of all the Monster High characters we think that Toralei translates into doll form better than most and so we could well see more versions of her brought out in the future. If we find out about any more releases we will update our page and let you know.
