Wii Games to Play With Friends

This is a list I have compiled of the best Wii games to play with friends. Whether you are having a party or just having some friends over and want to play some Wii games. This is a list of Wii games that are certainly useful for your video gaming cabinet. If you own a Nintendo Wii, it's important you have a large selection of multiplayer games, that's what the Wii is all about!

You can't really own a Wii and not own Mario Kart. That would be blasphemy. For multiplayer with friends, it ranks up there as one of the best. There is no better feeling that hammering your mate who is in first place with a green turtle and whizzing by to claim the win. You will love it and hate it all in one neat little package! All that is left now is to decide whether to use the Wheel or a Wii remote and Nunchuck.

Another multiplayer favourite, get together and bash each other up with iconic Nintendo characters! Fun! From Kirby to Mario and everyone in between, you have a vast array of characters to choose from. With some really quirky levels and items and massively fun gameplay, Super Smash Bros. will result in a fun night of gaming with your friends.

One of the best 'Party' orientated games in my opinion. Much better then Mario Party 8 for example. The games are well thought out, quirky & fun. With the option to play 4 players, and to choose from a multitude of levels (Board Game Island, Global Trot). More suited to a large group of mixed gender friends, this is a good one to have in the cabinet for parties.

Everyone knows about Wii sports. It's the one in all the Nintendo ads, it's the one with Tennis & Golf & Bowling. Although a little 'ancient' as it was released with the Wii itself, Wii Sports does have a timeless multiplayer quality to it. Tennis with four people (make sure you have a large enough lounge room!) or a round of Golf, always goes down well at a relaxing get together.

This one is best when you just have one friend over, and you feel like some joint arcade platformer action. The remake of Donkey Kong for Wii is a great game, and definitely more fun when playing with a mate. You will just have to decide who is going to be big Donkey Kong and who is going to be little Diddy Kong. I'll let you guys figure that one out.

This game was considered a real 'dark horse' for the Wii. You may not have heard of Tatsunoko if you live outside of Japan. Tatsunoko Production Co Ltd is one of the great animation studios in Japan, and they have been involved in numerous famous Anime titles over the years. With this obscure cross over of titles, a real gem of a game is to be found. It is well balanced with smooth polished graphics. Play this with friends and let the fighting fun begin.
