World of Tanks Physics Engine
Physics
At long last the 8.0 update has arrived. As well as a new physics engine with more realistic collision impacts and vehicle movement. The physics engine allows tankers access to parts of the map which were previously off limits. Tankers can and will get air especially when hitting jumps in the lighter, faster tanks. Just be mindful that a jump can lead to damaged tracks, other critical damage or vehicle destruction depending on the size of the fall. Tanks can also skid when turning at top speed or roll if you are side on to a steep incline. The damage aspect is also what makes the 8.0 patch fun. You may get the opportunity to ram your enemies off a cliff face or into a deep watery grave. One of the first differences tankers will notice is the loss of accuracy in the gun reticle from even a slight move or the effect of gun recoil when firing.
