What was your favorite gaming magazine growing up?
I fondly remember the days of coming home from school waiting for my new issue of EGM. What was your favorite gaming mag growing up?
Mine was Gamepro. But EGM and PSM are a close second. Wizard Mag was another, while it was manly a comic magazine, it did have gaming segments in it.
I have not thought about Wizard for years but that was one I subscribed to back in my heavy comic collecting days
We had very few in the UK, and they were still expensive in their day. It was my dad who bought the Official Playstation Magazine, and I'd just look at the pictures and play the demos, and even today I rarely read the content.
But today I like going over old issues of Nintendo Power, for they were the best of the best when it came to video game guides, strategies and news for ALL things Nintendo! I'd even go as far to say that they blew the internet out of the water at times.
Thanks for the input, in the US in the late '90s you could not got to a store without seeing twenty different magazines. Almost every media empire at the time was looking to cash in on the growing gaming trend.
At different points in time, I had subscriptions to Nintendo Power, GamePro, and EGM. Nintendo Power was always my favorite though, because The Legend of Zelda has always been my favorite series. And of course, when I was a kid Pokemon was huge.
Nintendo Power. I was a loyal subscriber for several years as a kid. Of course, it only had Nintendo stuff, but I was always a Nintendo kid until the PS 2 came along.

What gaming console did you play in your early years? There are a lot of gaming consoles that shows nowadays. There's PSP, Xbox, Nintendo Wii, etc. But do you still remember those early years when you used to play Super Mario Bros. and Pacman?

What is your most all-time favorite game of all time!?!?!Mine would have to be a tie between Super Mario World on the Super Nintendo and Donkey Kong Country on the Super Nintendo, with all the Halos close behind

Do you upgrade when new gaming systems come out, or are you happy with the old stuff?I upgrade if it is absolutely necessary, like when they no longer make or sell games for a system I already have. The newest system I own right now is Wii, along with a Playstation 2 and a Nintendo 64.
