Which is the best gaming platform? The PS3, Wii or Xbox 360 or PC?
I personally prefer the Xbox 360 but that is merely my opinion.
I wrote a hub about comparing Xbox to Ps3, and my analysis was, that the PS3 gives you more for the entertainment portion of the systems. But as far as gaming , Xbox 360 takes the cake due to its extensive online database. So my vote goes for Xbox 360.
Fair enough, i do only really play xbox when more of my friends are online
As far as all time is concerned, I would go with the Sega Dreamcast; A system that was light years ahead of the curve. But on a current level, I love the PS 3. X box360 was nice but it was rushed out the door at Microsoft with faulty units that still run the risk of nuking themselves. Rarely do we hear of PS3's having issues. It's a sad fact but no one builds these systems to last. Hell, I know people that still own their first NES, Mega Drive, and even Atari 2600's.
Haha, I remember playing the Dreamcast and thinking that it was one of the best consoles ever. The original xbox was rushed but the new xbox hardly ever has issues
It really depends on what you are using it for. The wii is a great system if you have a lot of people over to play group video games. The wii might not have the best graphics compared to Playstation and Xbox, but it's also great if you play older nintendo games, I love nintendo and I have a lot of the older zelda and mario games on my nintendo wii.
Fair enough but seeing as I mostly just play with my friends I feel that the xbox is the best
Well if you had unlimited money?
I have the Xbox 3360, ps3, and a pc.
Out of all I really enjoy the Ps3.
However, if I had more money I'd get a gaming computer such as alienware or something that is really powerful for gaming.
Xbox 360 is good as well (I modded mine so I like it alot for that reason).
But i hate wii haha I'd rather play gamecube which is pretty sweet!
Haha, the Gamecube was an amazing games console for its time.
I would say PC because you have more gaming options to choose from, various different controls, and better access to different forums on the games. I personally like Xbox 360 myself, but I prefer to play PC games.
I do understand why people prefer PC gaming as their is a huge range of games but you can only really voice chat through different services, such as skype, whcih is why I prefer Xbox
Each system is good in it's own right, for different reasons, without really knowing the person and their gaming habits, it's hard to say. Honestly, you can't go wrong with any of the big three.
Fun to read what everybody thinks and why.
I like Xbox360 but Sony is starting to get my attention with some of their exclusive games like Uncharted and God of War series.
Fair enough but xbox still has the Halo games and the Gears of War games which I think are brilliant
I only use gaming consoles for the games they have. So look for the console that has the most games that you wish to play and in my opinion that will be the best console that there is at the time.

I'm looking to buy a new console, but am not sure which one is the best to buy. I've been continuously told how great Xbox live is, how fantastic the Ps3's blue ray player is and how fun the Wii is. With the funds to only get one, it's a little difficult to choose.
