Dead Space 2 Necromorph Monsters

With the release date of Dead Space 2 reaching nearer on 25 January 2011, let's examine some of the dead space 2 necromorph monsters that the player character aka Isaac Clarke can exterminate with his plasma cutter, javelin weapons and other necromorph exterminating weapons.

Dead Space 2 Necromorph Tripod

The dead space 2 Necromorph Tripod is an innovative sci fi horror monster created for the dead space 2 universe. This horror leaps out of the darkness to surprise Clarke as he explores the futuristic church. This monstrosity is thus named because of its tripod like extension which keep it upright whilst flicking out a deadly tongue with a yellow pod in it. This tongue is both a weapon and a weakness as striking at the yellow pod will destroy the creature.

Dead Space 2 Necromorph the Pack

Dead Space 2 Necromorph the pack is a really annoying monster or group of monsters. They are short, they are child-like and they swarm Isaac Clarke with pack after pack. They then chew, claw and attack Issac Clarke relentlessly. It's difficult to destroy this monster pack because of the numbers.

Dead Space 2 Necromorph Slasher

The dead space 2 Necromorph Slasher is a monster with blade like hands which can slash Isaac Clarke asunder. Luckily Isaac has weapons which can also tear the Necromorph apart. Another variant of the necromorph appears to be one that hangs from the ceiling and has a belly that can attack the enemy ie Isaac Clarke.

Dead Space 2 Non-necromorph Monsters

Not all monsters in dead space 2 appear to be necromorph. Isaac Clarke is assaulted by a hover chopper that starts firing Isaac Clarke. Unless the necromorph has developed a brain, it looks like someone else is trying to eliminate Isaac. Also it looks like each exploration place ends with a boss creature which may or may not be a necromorph.

Dead Space 2 is available as a normal edition, and also a collector's edition. In the collector's edition, one has a replica plasma cutter, soundtrack, concept art and in-game items. The pre-order edition also includes the exclusive hacker suit and a downloadable Dead Space Ignition.
