    Well for me it's all about where you look. I have a large family and a small budget for clothing. So we start in second hand stores, but you have to be careful to CLOSELy examine anything you buy there for damage or defects. We recently bought our daugthers 6 dresses and spent only $5.

    2nd retail stores like Marshalls, Gabrial Brothers, even K Mart or Wal Mart - check for discount racks - buy clothes a season ahead - lots of bargains to be found if you're willing to spend some time searching.

    Tough question. Retailer markups ensure high prices for clothes that only cost like 20 cents to make in a Chinese sweatshop. So the answer would be tougher regulations. That won't happen because corporations would block it.
