What makes Star Wars The Old Republic the best MMO?

Does SWTOR (Star Wars The Old Republic) reward creativity in the way you use and play your characters?  [fair use image from Wikipedia]

It isn't even close in regards to popularity, or shear number of players. (Coming from a Star Wars fan myself) Overall it actually is known to be one of the worst developed MMO's on the market.

MMORPG = massive multilayer online role playing game
I'm fairly certain that MMO's is a short for the whole

The Best MMORPG ive run across as far as stability , player subscriptions , and content is hands down Everquest ( by Sony online entertainment )- it has been around for 13 yeas and still coming out with expansions every year - and then there is World of Warcraft ( by Blizzard entertainment )- another monster game with millions of subscribers

Swtor will have quite big shoes to fill to follow in those same footsteps in my humble opinion

I think SWTOR falls short in terms of MMO greatness. In terms of sheer fun and enjoyment, it's a great game. One of the best written and voiced I've every played. The problem for me is that it feels like an RPG (similar to Dragon Age or Mass Effect) but online and with the subsequent pay-to-play fee. If the game was a subscription-less title, I think it would be fine. I just can't justify paying $15 a month for a game where I never really need to interact with others until the end.
