How to clean and polish old coins and what to use to make them shiny?
It depends on the coin and the way you want to present it. Most people like their old coins to have that old petina on it. Sometimes cleaning a coin reduce the desirable aspect of having an older coin. I personally use vinager and baking soda, I make a paste and rub it on the coins or other silver items. I really don't recommend polishing any old coins unless you are wanting to present them in a hard plastic cover.
