    That they had the money to put together a league winning team is irrelevant.  The most important thing was that the players were able to play effectively together, that is what won them the title.
    It is an unfortunate part of football that finance so often raises its ugly head.  It was a much better game when the people who owned and formed the football clubs were actually interested in the sport, not the investment value of the team.

    I think that City were just a bit lucky in the final game, but they deserve the title considering their comeback after being 8 points down. And in the win against Newcastle they did play like the champions.
