Who is your favourite video game critic?
My personal favourites are the Angry Video Game Nerd (James Rolfe, AVGN), Irate Gamer (Chris Bores), Spoony One (Noah Antwieler) and Angry Joe (Joe Vargas). But who are yours? I chose so many because I can't pick! They're all as wacky and vulgar as each other!
I like Jeff Gerstman from Giant Bomb...he is funny, and we usually tend to have the some tastes.
Actually I love the UK games magazine called EDGE. It has some of the best critics and reviews as it is fairly impartial with strong industry focus and does a lot of retro analysis and authoritative voice. As it is not aligned to one format it does neutral reviews and previews. The mag is handsomely produced and has a very non generic look for a magazine of that kind high on design and aesthetics too! Its now available for ipad.
I also like the video reviews on GAMESPOT.COM
I guess you could say Totalbiscuit. I don't really follow many of the video game sites much any more, but I enjoy TBs stuff and his humor.
Why myself of course! ;-)
Was always a fan of Julian Rignall back in the day (he reviewed for ZZAP 64) - and the guys in Crash Magazine were usually spot-on.
These days I still enjoy reading PC Gamer and find their reviews informative and pretty much accurate
I would have to say that My favorite at the moment is Angry Video Game Nerd, He's played so many old school games, on various systems.
I've only watched two of Spoony One's videos ( The Thing and Phantasmagoria 2: A Puzzle of the Flesh) I've only recently found out about Angry Joe. He's amusing and goes the extra few by doing some cosplay skit from time to time.
DarksydePhil of the DSPGaming, a Youtube channel has his "Hateful Truth" reviews. Which are kind of straight forward compared to AVGN and Spoony One

Which is your favourite video game retailer?Gamestation was mine before it closed down, but now it's Game and CeX (Computer Exchange). I'd like to know where you guys get your games from so I can have a look around and get some more things to review. Where do you buy your games, new or pre-owned,...
