Sleep, sleep sleep.  That way when 5 am comes you can get up and face the day with a little bit of energy as opposed to being over tired and cranky.

Thanks for the reply...I've been trying this since college..mostly it does not works because even if I go to bed early I can't sleep as I'm not used to it.. so it will be late by the time I actually sleep.also it's impossible not to snooze the alarm

I hate going to bed early. If I go to bed before midnight i wake up an hour later and think, OMG is this night ever going to end!!

I'm a night owl so it's usually easier for me to stay up till morning. I'm still testing as to which works better for me. When I get up too early, I get sleepy early too. Sometimes, I just want to stay up late. Plus, I work better when it's all quiet all around me ^_^

If it's something really important and you've never tried the stay up til morning approach, I would suggest sleeping.  Some people can stay up until the morning and function normally the next day, but others can't.  Experiment with it on the weekends to learn how your body works.

Paxwill, I totally agree with you... when I was in college I tried staying up till morning and the first time I slept just before my networking test ..the second time I did very bad in the test..but later i became good at it, thanks to online Gaming.
