The odds of winning the top prize in the Powerball Lottery in the US are 1 in 175,223,510

When I play I always think I'm going to win, so I probably hope for the best more than anything.  I don't think of the odds much.  No point, since it's such a small chance, you just have to hope for the best.

No, I don't play the lottery. I just never think about it. We live in rural Montana and I am not even sure where they sell tickets.

If I play the lottery, I just hope I have good luck and will win. If I think about the odds, there's a slim chance, so I wouldn't buy the ticket.

Obviously if anyone plays the lottery they are not doing itr for the odds. The odds always are that you are going to lose. People play the lottery for the fun of it or a chance at the dream of striking rich.
