SWTOR Defeating the Jedi Strike Commander

Updated on January 19, 2012

SWTOR Defeating the Jedi Strike Commander

In SWTOR, defeating the jedi strike commander can be quite challenging as the jedi strike commander is the main and a very difficult boss in the sith inquisitor class quest on Alderaan. This will guide the sith assassin in using various tactics to defeat the jedi strike commander, and will also chronicle the events leading up to the attempts to defeat the jedi strike commander. Also after defeating the jedi strike commander, the sith assassin is sent to the Halls of Elysium to find the final Tulak Hord artifact. This will guide the sith inquisitor to the personal shuttle that will take the sith inquisitor to the Halls of Elysium, and provide tactics to defeat the organa vault warden droid.

SWTOR Defeating Nomar Organa

In SWTOR secret rendezvous quest, the sith inquisitor finally meets Nomar Organa at the Aesea Killik Tunnels. Nomar Organa has been lured to Alderaan under the false pretense that he was to meet his ex lover Rehanna Rist. However, Nomar Organa meets the sith inquisitor instead. For most sith inquisitors, this encounter invariably leads to a fight. Surprisingly, for all the hype of luring Nomar Organa the Jedi Master to Alderaan, this fight is short, easy and simple. Finish off this Jedi Master and prepare to meet and defeat the awfully difficult to beat Jedi Strike Commander.

SWTOR Tactics to Defeat the Jedi Strike Commander

In SWTOR secret rendezvous quest, the sith inquisitor is tasked by Elana Thul of the House of Thul to infiltrate the Jedi enclave and help Urtel Moren defeat the Jedi Strike Commander.

To defeat the Jedi Strike Commander, it is necessary to understand the various tactics used by the jedi strike commander to beat the sith assassin. The jedi strike commander will preferentially attack the sith assassin's companion, unless the sith assassin switches the companion's attack stance from shadow attack to offensive combat stance. In this way, the jedi strike commander will distribute his damage between the sith assassin's companion and the sith assassin. This will allow the sith assassin companion to last longer and allow the sith assassin more opportunities to execute his abilities to defeat the jedi strike commander.

In SWTOR, the jedi strike commander will primarily use his melee lightsaber attacks. It may be better to use Andronikos Revel for this fight rather than Khem Val due to the jedi strike commander's need to use his melee lightsaber attacks and his area effect attacks. Using Andronikos Revel will create some distance between the jedi strike commander and the sith assassin. This will allow the sith assassin to use his often neglected abilities of force lightning, crushing darkness and force slow when the jedi strike commander is targeting the sith assassin's companion. When the jedi strike commander is targeting the sith assassin, it may be necessary to run around the room (kite), and use furniture and various other objects in the room to prevent the jedi strike commander from launching attacks at the sith assassin.

In SWTOR, when trying to defeat the jedi strike commander, start off the fight under stealth, and then use electrocute, followed by force lightning and then jolt. Then switch on Channel the Force, and repeat the above steps. In this way, the jedi strike commander will not be able to use his abilities until later on in the fight. By that time, with a proper companion like a very well equipped and damage intensive Khem Val or Andronikos Revel, the jedi strike commander will be down in health before he launches his attacks. Then use the above tactics to maintain the health of the companion and the sith assassin until the jedi strike commander is defeated. Of course, it is still necessary to be at least level 30 (recommended), have some high level med pacs and a stim for endurance before engaging the jedi strike commander. It may not be necessary to use backstab maul frequently for this fight as the keys are to avoid the area effects of the jedi strike commander and his ability to stun the companion for as long as possible, whilst still maintaining some kind of damage on the jedi strike commander throughout the fight.

In SWTOR, if one is running out of patience to defeat the jedi strike commander or options to level up more in Alderaan, it may be wise to simply ask a friend for help. Bring a friend into the fight with the jedi strike commander, and this fight will be very simple indeed. Remember to change the preferences options to allow the friend to enter the sith inquisitor class area.

SWTOR How to Get to the Personal Shuttle to Get to Halls of Elysium

In SWTOR, after defeating the jedi strike commander, do not leave the chamber. Use the holo terminal in the center of the room to contact Elana Thul. Elana Thul has prepared a personal shuttle for the sith inquisitor to reach the Halls of Elysium. From Outpost Ghrent, (on the map) spot the location of the shuttle directly north of Outpost Ghrent. However, due to terrain challenges, it is necessary for the sith inquisitor to head west from Outpost Ghrent and then north and east to reach the personal shuttle. Board the personal shuttle to reach the Halls of Elysium.

In SWTOR in the Halls of Elysium quest, finish off the Organa and republic droids and jedi protectors (there are also gold level jedi wardens) here. Find the Organa Vault containing the Tulak Hord artifact. It is protected by the Organa Vault Warden Droid. Defeating the organa vault warden droid is straightforward. Use Khem Val as tank, and just backstab maul it. To prolong the health of the companion, use electrocute and jolt, and then channel the force to repeat the electrocute and jolt. And then backstab again. The organa vault warden droid will be defeated. Grab the final Tulak Hord artifact.

In SWTOR, after getting the Tulak Hord artifact, don't leave the Halls of Elysium just yet. Head to the House Thul Vault to get some extra treasure items. And then it's time to leave Alderaan and complete the legacy quest of the sith inquisitor by getting the lightsaber of Kallig.
