Before We Dive In...

If you have happened to stop by and have read this hub's predecessor, you will know that I delved into some personal facts about my life and family that have worked together to mold me into the man I am today. If you have not read the prequel, do not worry, for this hub does not continue that line of thought. Instead I decided that it would be neat to change things up and offer my readers some interesting facts about me. So, sit back, and relax. Oh before you sit down, grab a cup of coffee and put on a comfy pair slippers, and most important of all, do enjoy!

Splittin' Image

Yes, I have idenitcal twin brother name Jon. We are two minutes apart, unfortunately for me though, he is the older one. I was going to come out first, but my mom needed a C-section, which caused my brother to come out first. Our whole family jokes about this scenario. Another interesting fact is that I would have been named Jon, because the first one to pop out was going to receive that name. But, that was not the case, so I was given the name Josh. Ever since that day when we immersed into the place we all inhabit called the world, my brother and I have been extremely competitive. Me being the best at everything, of course! Just kidding, we are fairly close in everything, If anything he might come out on top by a smidgen.

Favorite Foods

(I am a recent college graduate, and living with my brother, so don't judge my eating habbits)

1. Mac n' Cheese

2. Breakfast Food (I could eat breakfast for any meal, any time of day. Besides, it is not hard to cook!)

For anyone who is slightly confused, let me clear things up. No one one in this picture is me! Ok, let's move on.

Current Occupation

I am currently working in the hotel industry as a Front Desk Associate, and I have been for almost a year now. I enjoy working in the customer service industry because I love to be around people! In fact, I am working right now as I am typing this hub...Shhh, don't tell my manager!

I am hoping to move up in the area of sales for now and accomplish the feat of which I refer to as eliminating my student loans!

Furry Members Of The Family!

My family currently owns four dogs! Their names are Bengi, Willie, Suzie, and Mandy! They are so adorable and are such a blessing to our family!

Favorite Holiday

Christmas! Why? Because I love being with family! Ok, I have to admit, the presents are a pretty good incentive! :)

Music

I can withstand pretty much any type of music, but the kind of music I enjoy the most is a cappella. I love the harmonies it presents, and the challenge it brings to the table. A cappella music is dear to my heart for which I will explain in the next category,so don't leave yet! A cappella, in my opinion, is the most challenging type of music because you don't have the music to back you up. You are all alone and rely on your counterparts to support you.

Why a cappella?

As I just promised, the reason why a cappella is so dear to me, is because I had the awesome opportunity to travel for a year with a group of ten guys(including my brother) singing a cappella and southern gospel music all around the east coast of the United States, as well as Guatemala, El Salvador, and Honduras. This was an awesome experience and probably one of the biggest impacts on my life up to date. But those stories are for another time, perhaps another hub down the road(Josh thinks to himself...hmmmm) I love to sing and have been in choirs and vocal groups as long as I can remember.(In fact, I should ask my mother, I was probably singing on the hospital table, to I'm Alive by Celine Dion after I popped out. Another joke folks)

Favorite Movies

(Not necessarily in any given order)

1. Shawshank Redemption

2. Inception

3. Dark Knight

4. The Departed

5. The Prestige

Favorite Movie Director

My favorite movie director at least up to date, would have to be Christopher Nolan, because of his ability to make his audience think. Several of his movies have complicated plots and twists which i enjoy, because I do not like a movie to be "spoon-fed" to me. I appreciate the idea of being able to think for myself and to wonder what is going to happen next.

2. Julia Roberts

3. Ryan Goslin

4. Leonardo DiCaprio

Favorite Sports Teams

1. Boston Redsox (MLB)

Near to Death Experience

On the way back to college one night, my brother and I, and five of our friends were crowded in a Subaru Outback. (mistake # 1) My brother and best friend Jeremy were lying in the hatchback. (mistake #2) The driver, Gillian was fooling around. (mistake #3) Gillian was going near 90 mph on the highway.(mistake #4) Gillian decided to be funny and swerve a little bit and over corrected to regain balance. (mistake #5) One thing led to another and before we could even think, the car flipped over several times at least three, causing my brother and Jeremy to be ejected across the four lane highway several hundred feet into a ditch. Even to this day I am in complete awe to be able to say that we all were fine except for about 30 stitches all together. God was definitely watching over us that night. The EMT's and doctors were shocked out of their minds and said we all should of been dead for sure! I am so lucky to be alive! That was a major learning experience, and turning point in my life; and I am so thankful to God for that event. Because it taught me to respect my life and to never take advantage of my opportunites here on Earth.

Amazing Experience

Aspirations

1. To always be grateful for my twin brother. He has been such an awesome part of my life, and sometimes I lose sight of that.

2. Have an amazing family some day!

3. Earn tons of money on HubPages :)

Special Thanks to Sharon(aka Sharyn's Slant)

Sharon has no idea I am giving her a shoutout here. But the reason I am, is because I read her introduction hub today which was awesome! It gave me the idea to write one myself. I decided the least I could do was thank her. So here it is, Thanks so much Sharon! If you do not know who Sharon is, or have not read her hub, check it out. You will learn quite a bit about her! Again thanks Sharon!

Before I Say So Long...

Below this section, I have posted a video of myself, brother and best friend Nathan performing a lip sync at our college which gave us 1st place. I figured I would show this, so you can learn a little more about me. You may have some questions and concerns upon watching it, but that is ok :) I am sure you will enjoy!

Disclaimer: We tried our best to be as flambouyant as possible.

One Rule: Please don't judge my character on this video, because it will give you a completely inaccurate view of who I really am! :)
