Benefits to "Keeping & Holding" on to Ones Faith in God.

Updated on May 30, 2016

No Matter what: Hold On to Your Faith! ; )

One either has faith in God or one doesn't have faith in God. The bible says that: Faith means being sure of the things we hope for and knowing that something is real even if we don't see it. (Hebrews 11:1 NCV). I've enjoyed living my life knowing this. It's awesome! Gives me great comfort, mentally, spiritually and emotionally. I know we live in a world that is filled with "Doubt." Ummm, one of my favorite movies (Doubt) in 2010 starring: Meryl Streep, Amy Adams and Phillip Seymour. A world full of God's love shown in different corners of the world, full of sin with senseless crimes, atrocious crimes, mind-boggling crimes. Yet, there is still "Hope." As long as we have "Life" there is hope. Do you know that song: Because He Lives? It's a great gospel song, full of hope and promise. I will begin here to explain the benefits of keeping a hold of ones faith. Be it that we have learned about the love of God, the hope of Christ or the promise of eternal life in heaven with our Savior from birth, or that we have heard the call of Christ to our heart, body and/or spirit during our youth/adolescent years.

Remember: This is for Your Mind, Body, Spirit & Soul. It is a Priceless and Rich investment.

Here's an Essential List!

Faith in God is essential, let me tell you why:

  1. Faith is powerful and can move mountains. I know personally because it has happened time and time for me. Faith can help keep your Peace of Mind. Are you a fan of the band: Boston? They have a sweet greatest hit song titled: Peace of Mind. It's worth checking out if you don't have a copy.
  2. Faith is something that is NOT tangible. So in the essence of things that are material, it is not. It is something that one has confident in knowing. I mean "Knowing," not being suspicious of or a possibility. Something that is assured of. Here's the scripture to read about it: Hebrews 11 chapter, 1st verse.
  3. To let go of ones own Faith is a dangerous thing, it is frightening to think about if you ask me and it is not worth the energy to bother with pondering to do so. Listen, Faith can get one out of a terrible situation, it can help one to achieve a need that seems impossible to attain.

Do you have Faith in God?

Do you desire to Have Faith in God? As the old saying goes: Practice makes Perfect, as in putting into practice having faith in God, versus not waiting on God and choosing to do an action or deem your belief as being "For real" with an outcome not close to how God would've provided. One must have a made up mind. That's right! A mind that has: Decided to Keep the Same Thinking, Keep the Same thought, Keep in the Same Direction with ones thought process. Look, if the thought is in a positive Godly path, there is no reason to turn away from it. Do NOT be thwarted by moments, days or situations in which you may fall down in your faith in God. Pick yourself Up. For there is Hope, Promise, Joy, Happiness & Peace in Keeping ones Mind on Christ. For he is Alive!

One more thing I'd like to mention, there is nothing worth letting go of ones Faith in God, nor is there anything worth letting go of ones Faith in Jesus Christ. As with all seeds, the Faith one has in God & in Jesus Christ enhances the mind, body & soul incredibly.
