Color stone is the use of stones to bring about healing and positive energy that can make changes in the mind and body.

This overview you will discover the healing properties of these color stones and learn how to bring about true changes to your life.

For me, color stones, energize me and help with my healing while changing my life daily. This is true healing energy.

This is my personal belief on how color stones work on the body.

You can find hundred's of books and DVDs and go to workshops on how to use color stones.

Each stone has it's energy and is good for this part of the body and what stone you need for this illness.

All the books are good and each teacher is great and if you can remember each stone and color you are doing great.

For me I have about 20 different books and have been at workshops for color stone healing.

I have learned after 30 years of working with crystals and color stone that the easier it is the more you are going to work with the color stones.

Color can influence our emotions, our actions and how we respond to various people, things and ideas. Much has been studied and written about color and its impact on our daily lives.

Many people believe that colors are powers, and that colored stones are especially powerful.

When you are not sure of which one is best, you have to go look it up or may not work with color stones at all.

The Chakra

The color needed for healing will be determined by the affliction. The color orange helps with depression, asthma and rheumatism. Red helps sexual disorders. Yellow is used for hormonal problems. Green serves as an antiseptic and soothe headaches. Blue is an all-purpose healing color but is also helpful with insomnia. Indigo helps with sinus problems and eczema. Purple treats issues of self-esteem and emotional hurt. Black is useful for treating grief. Gold is helpful for digestive issues and silver is calming. White will replace any color as necessary.

Create a color infusion tonic. Use the colored stones to infuse mineral water with healing properties. Clean the stones thoroughly. Place the colored stones needed in a clear bowl of mineral water. Set the bowl in the sun for two hours plus an hour for each additional color.

Wear the color. A simple and effective way to use color to accelerate healing is to wear the corresponding and spend at least an hour in contact with the sun. This of course has the added advantage of harnessing the sun's natural healing properties.

Colored foods can be quite useful for healing. Red, orange and yellow are colors of heat and are stimulating with the color red having the ability to restore energy. Yellow foods can help with weight loss. Green foods detoxify the body. Blues and purples are soothing foods.

Mandalas can be far more complex than most crystal grids. The placement of the stones is usually done in focused meditation for both grids and mandala. Mandala are most often gazed at and meditated with, but like grids are often created with intention and then left to continue the work of transmitting energy for a particular purpose, or created to energize and focus intention toward a particular goal such as healing or manifestation or to assist with symbolic expression of spiritual essence or spiritual connection. Some mandalas employ sacred geometry or are symbolic depictions of core lessons in the particular path, faith or tradition from which the elements are formed.

Crystal grids or other grids are almost always started with a purpose in mind. While you can create mandala for a specific purpose non traditional mandala often evolve during their creation and their purpose or message is not known until they have been made.

Sand paintings, which are Mandala most known for their use in Tibet and in Navajo traditions and in India can be thought of as a form of crystal mandala as the sand is mostly of rock and crystal origins. These forms of sand painted mandala are usually made under the strictest of control and focus according to traditions handed down in a sacred way for hundreds of years. They are made from careful placement of colored sand by hand, with small funnel like tools with feathers and quills being common tools. These are made and used or dedicated for the intended work and after a period of meditation the mandala is swept away and the sand is discarded in a sacred way. Dispersing it to the winds or into water being common methods. Those examples of Navajo Sand painting which may be found on display have always been altered in a way to preserve the secret of their correct sacred construction. The Tibetan Forms are extremely complex and traditionally one has fully visualized and memorized the structure before beginning to do the work.

A variation of sand mandalas is sometimes made with a fixative or with glue to make a more permanent mandala a similar mosaic type of mandala might be made with stone and crystal chips.

What is Color Stone Healing?

Color stone healing is the therapy of using color stones to create harmony and balance in your body and life. All color stones have a vibration you can tell by holding the stone in your left hand.

The color of the stone is moved by the vibration of the stone and color into your body. With color stones I like to use the easy rule for color with the body's energy opaque stones move the energy slow and translucent stone move the energy fast.

The energy vibration of that color is what you need in order to improve and balance your physical and emotional and your mental mind also your spiritual growth.

There are books on color stones and what each stone means and how to use them. I have found after years of working with color stone before I had a book to read that color is all round use and we need all color to have are body in balance.

I did fine that small color stone work the best to work on my body anytime.

I have a very easy rule on how the energy of each color stone works. Red and orange and yellow- stone are the hot colors and move energy the fastest. Pink Stone-is for love and for healing of your emotional. Blue Stone-cooling and calming for the body and helps with your mental mind. Purple Stone- this stone helps with the spiritual growth. Brown Stone- good for ground to mother earth. Black Stone- is good for protection.

I have used this rule for the last 20 years and I have found it to work each time. Yes I do my balance my Chakra with the color stone.

The most fun with color stone is just try one and if it works and you like it use it.

Stones and crystals are often chosen by color for specific purposes in factand for many crystal healing systems color is a primary mode of organization and guide to the properties and functions of the stones in treatment . You can use color as a rough guideline to the use of a crystal.

The area of color healing and other healing and work with colored stones and crystals is a vast area of study . Color is not the only factor or guide to the function of the crystal in healing and other work but it is one of the most obvious guides to use and organization of your crystal companions .

Color vibration creates a clear and direct resonance effect on the energy body and the mind, body and spirit. Much of our response to color is built into our genetic and spiritual blueprint. While cultural interpretations and beliefs about color can vary greatly from place to place and time to time there are many aspects that appear to be almost universal.
