Gods way to healthy living: Step 3: Exercise.

Exercise!

God placed man in the garden to work, to grow and harvest his own food. Our modern living has almost completely eliminated the motion and exercise that our bodies requires to function optimally. Our oxygen absorption is determined by the level of physical movement and exercise.

Genesis 2:15. The Lord God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to work it and keep it. And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, “You may surely eat of every tree of the garden, but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.”

Our sedentary lifestyle has led to chronic oxygen starvation. Our organs, muscles, brain and nerves are starving for oxygen and nutrients. This leads to physical and mental deterioration. This also leads to degenerative diseases and even death.

How much exercise should I get?

The best way to exercise is to go to the gym, start running or play an active sport.

If you are older like me, we need something more moderate. Even the very unfit need to start somewhere.

The best way to start exercising is by walking at least 30 minutes a day. Make it interesting by taking walks in natural surroundings like a park or dam.

Do this daily and watch how your capacity to walk will increase. Park your car as far as possible from the mall entrance and walk that extra bit.

Brisk walking is an excellent source of exercise. Outdoor labor will also be a good source of exercise, example, gardening, painting, washing the car.

Exercise is very important and it could increase your living conditions. Exercise even when you are sick. It is important to rest, but make sure to walk. Do breathing exercises while walking.

If you are unable to exercise, use a trampoline or if not available use massage to help with passive exercise. The more motions the exercise contains the more beneficial it will be.

- Helps you lose weight by a better digestion process.

Circulation.

Perfect health requires perfect circulation.

The more we exercise the better the circulation of the blood. Exercise also produce endorphins that makes us feel good.

For the endorphins, oxygen and nutrients to go effectively throughout the whole body we need perfect blood circulation.

To exercise without putting your heart in it, is simply drudgery and nothing gained. We have to get discipline back in your life and exercise. If you slack in your exercises you rob yourself of a healthy life.

Remember to exercise the mind as well as the body to be healthy.

Exodus 15:26 And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the Lord that healeth thee.

Always remember that it is God that will keep us healthy but we have to look after His temple that was loaned to us. Exercise, exercise, exercise.
