Take A Shower

Taking a showering before planning to sleep can really help you do that, many people claimed that this helped them and people who take showers before bedtime always tend to fall asleep faster than those who do not.

Showering can relieve your body of all the tensions, stress and pressures that's why it makes your body relax and helps you to sleep. I'm sure you too have tried that before and you could know how it affects your body and gets you to sleep faster because this happens with me too!

Eat Some Food

Some foods can help your brain relax and secrete the hormones and neurotransmitters responsible for making you get to sleep, a good example would be the secretion of Serotonin, this neurotransmitter is responsible for mood regulation, sleeping and others.

Eat Foods that contain carbohydrates, such foods are: Rice, beef, tuna, bread, spaghetti and others.

Drinking milk can also help you big time to sleep, you know when babies drink milk they rapidly fall asleep after drinking it, yes?

You can also eat other dairy products.

Read Or Write Something!

A lot of people experience and feel sleepiness during reading or writing, you can do that on your bed while setting the lights off and leaving a low light there then start on reading a romantic story or a beneficial story or whatever you want as long as it makes you interested about reading it.

You can also write something, just anything you feel like writing.

Drawing can also help put you to sleep.

Putting Relaxing And Calm Music

Many people can't sleep if they don't have their calm music on although some people don't like to hear anything at all while attending to sleep but it's known that calm music can really help almost anyone to fall asleep because it can relax the mind and relieve it from the many thoughts that most people get to have especially before bedtime.

Talk Or Chat With A friend

Sometimes the mind won't be relaxed until it gets all its thoughts out of it so a lot of people prefer to chat or talk to someone before bedtime to empty all of what's in their heads and you too can try that, well unless you don't prefer doing as such.

There are many other methods that would also work, it just depends on you sometimes.
