Hi. I recently had an MRI performed on my right knee which found a medial meniscus tear as well...

as bone marrow edema in both my tibia and fibula (medial aspects.) I had surgery one week ago today for the tear and it is doing pretty good. However, I have pain in the anteromedial aspect of my tibia during weight bearing with my knee slightly flexed (I don't have full extension due to edema). I think that this pain is due to the bone contusion. Should I be limited weight bearing? I called my ortho surgeon to ask, but unfortunately he had a stroke the day after my surgery and I cannot get answers otherwise. I don't want to do further damage to my tibia. Thanks.
