Scott, while I hope your intentions are pure, for anyone reading this, please be aware that it would be so easy for someone to say.. here is my phone number call me with your credit card info and donate to charity..
MS participants can create webpages.. They have no need to offer a phone number to accept donations.. I would be really weary, of someone jumping on a message board who's never been there before and spam soliciting asking for charity donations over the phone.
However, I am doing the MS Walk.. One of my closest friends has MS and a bunch of us are walking.
I don't have any donations, I didn't try to hard for them, just wanted to walk for her. But if anyone did want to donate you can do so through my MS Walk participant page... And get to see my wig I had on for Halloween =P
