Is masturbation wrong or a sin?
I read in a family health book about child development into adulthood and they mentioned seminal emission occurs about every two weeks and that over 90% of adults masturbate. Is there a Bible-based instruction claiming masturbation is wrong or a sin?
No. People have skewed "That Shalt Not Lust" to refer to any sexual longings, but the actual meaning is quite different. No where in the Bible does it mention that self-pleasuring is wrong. This fear of sex is causing so many problems in the world. It's truly sad.
No it is not a sin but there should be a limit to enerything. This done at the right time in the right way are always good. In fact I have read that it is good for health but there should be limit.
No, but there is a passage in which: "Onan did spill his seed onto the ground", which is why it used to be called Onanism (which was actually not masturbation, but a birth control method). For more information on masturbation, which is a normal primate activity, for both the males, and females of multiple species, view section 13, at http://www.ezy-build.net.nz/~shaneris (2 articles). Incidentally, and somewhat off subject, the commandment refers specifically to "adultery", NOT "fornication"!

The Bible says that all one has to do is ask for forgiveness. Now being that, do you think that Satan might have already asked God for forgiveness? Now before you rattle off scripture.....I don't believe...but I could be wrong....that the Bible has nothing to say on that.
