    Both pubic and head lice are still around.  The only sure cure, short of dousing with chemicals of varying effectiveness or having someone with a baby comb go over someone afflicted, is SHAVING.  No hair, no place for the lice to glue their eggs for the next cycle.

    BTW, men, check your mustaches and beards as well.

    And, even men as well as women could be shaved.  As Dr. Evil said in "Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery", recounting his childhood:

    "...At the age of 14, a Zoroastrian named Vilmer ritualistically shaved my testicles. There really is nothing like a shorn scrotum — it's breathtaking... I suggest you try it..."

    These are tiny little bugs that causes infections and this type of infection caused is called as Ectoparasitic infections. These are just damn blood suckers and can afflict  skin and scalp. Which further leads to irritation. Mostly these types of infections are spread  through physical sexual contact.
