Tea, coffee and cool drink will also count towards your daily water intake. Just make sure that your cool drink is non-sugary and low calories - other wise you will be piling on the pounds.
Tea and coffee are both diuretics which purge the body of water. The caffiene just cleans us right out, thus causing dehydration. There is no absolute substitute for drinking water. Thank you for asking this question.
