Do You Think People Would Pay A Fee To Have Someone Else Apply For Their SSI Benefits?
Do you know someone who would pay a fee to have someone apply for their social security benefits for them? What do you think a reasonable fee would be?
Although you cannot have someone else act as you to get Social Security benefits, you can hire either a Social Security representative or advocate or an attorney to help you fill out the necessary paperwork, gather the necessary paperwork, and represent you through the process. The cost is the same whether you hire an advocate or an attorney. As of now, the fee is 25% of your backpay or $6,000, whichever is less.
