Are you alone? Of course not. This is a huge health problem in a lot of first-world countries right now. A lot of it has to do with the community you live in. If you are serious about helping yourself, consider moving to a fit, healthy place like Seattle or Denver or Hawaii, where unhealthy people don't fit in. You'll find that the place will change you.
