In general, or in terms of post-birth weight versus pre-pregnancy weight? In general no, you're not supposed to lose weight while pregnant, regardless of how many babies there are...your body is taking on tons of extra fluids while the babies are growing and should be getting proportionately heavier. That said, many women do lose weight during morning sickness due to loss of appetite and, often, because of frequent vomiting...as long as that stays within a normal range, it's not a bad thing. As far as ending up weighing less post-birth than before you got pregnant, it is possible with any pregnancy, though is often not a lasting loss and can only be determined about a month after birth, since initial weight loss beyond pre-pregnancy weight may just be from blood loss.
