There are safe and good herbal products that are not so easily available, made from lemon grass, ecucalypts and other herbs with aroma therapy spas.
Deet repels them and it also repels ticks. Deet is safe.
The diseases mosquitoes and ticks can cause are life threating.

The stupid town is spraying for mosquitos tonight and has warned us to shut our windows. Too bad they cannot warn the birds and the bees. Double whammy for the birds - sicken them with poison and kill off a food supply.Bees? Who cares? They are only important for pollinating much...
