    First I sit around unmotivated (I mean in regards to everything)  then I start trying to find stuff to keep me busy which is a chore as Im not really motivated eventually if I trudge on I get interested in somthing and after time dont even realize Im out of my funk

    Zoloft banishes my depression to the sad, dark recesses of my mind.

    There are three ways to attack depression:

    1. Start exercising -- preferably do it vigorously. Try working on most muscles of the body, which activates the neuromuscular connections -- that in turn stimulates the mind.

    2. Don't stay alone or idle -- both feed negative thinking.

    3. Read self help motivating books; they not only inspire you but give you fresh ideas to look at your situation.

    4. Talk about your feelings -- with friends, counselor or whomever.

    Agree with you I have to keep my mind occupied to control the negative thinking.and I have my counselor to talk out my feelings with.

    When you get depressed think about the people of Haiti or Pakistan or Africa. If you're still depressed you're truly sick!
