    What are some ways of getting rid of post-pregnancy water weight (edema) in the legs and feet?

    Docs have suggested keeping feet elevated above the heart, but are there any other pointers on what might help? Diet? Activity?

    Most immediately, put feet up, then get an assesement from a health care professional if the problem persists.

    Post pregrnancy...walk, walk, walk, then do the Kegel exercises, drink lots of water...please do not use diuretics.

    I lost all the weight that I gained during pregnancy when I gave birth. I walked during and after pregnancy, as much as I could.
