What to do when your 5 housemates smoke in the kitchen and you are the one who doesn't smoke at all?
Well, I guess you are outnumbered so apart from spending less time in the kitchen when they are smoking in there there is not much you can do. Try choosing different housemates in the future if it really bothers you!
They need to respect the fact that you do not smoke and not to cloud the area where you're at. That's the least they can do, if not then there might be a problem.
First you need to make them aware that you are comfortable that they are smoking inside the house, but in a nice way. If they do not seem to bother, the best thing you can do is go to your own space. Sometimes it is good to stay away rather than trying to go along with their lifestyle.
Short of walking aorund with a breating mask on, and treating this hous elike a radioactive site, you could try moving out, finding some other house mates. Or be annoying, put up anti-smoking poster all over the house constantly, tey'll either get the message, or just get really annoyed, probably the latter.

Would you let one of the pesky little critters blow smoke all around your Lounge-room, or would you boot them outside.

I have never been the smartest person in the world but I guess I have never understood why people still smoke. There is so much evidence out there proving that if you continue to smoke that you will die, I mean if you want to die just shoot yourself because it won't be as painful. People are...
