It depends on how long the periods lasted and how heavy the flow was. Having multiple periods in one month could be caused by a number of things (stress being one of the less serious), if you have insurance or access to a free health clinic, it couldn't hurt to see a doctor. Just to be sure it's nothing serious.

I agree with Rusty. My sister was having two periods in one month, so she went to the doctor and they discovered a polyp on her ovary. She got the polyp removed, but the problem was still occurring. Then, she got this wild hair to ask her dermatologist if abnormal bleeding could be a rare side effect of the medication that she was taking, and it was! So, she stopped taking the medicine and her period became regular again. So, basically, there are many things that could cause abnormal bleeding. Just be sure to check with ALL your doctors!

It depends but if you just started your menstrual cycle then its normal.Sometimes it takes time for your body to adapt to this new experience. Also,if uve been seeing your period for say 1-2 years it could be because your menstruak cycle is changing up.Drink lots of water and excersie and visit your doctor for monthly check ups,
