Does anyone know of a way to not get blisters on the back of your heals after buying new shoes?
I honestly am thinking it's just my feet at this point. I mean it doesn't seem to matter the type of shoe I buy.
Make sure you buy shoes that actually fit. You may want to consider asking someone to help you when picking out shoe sizes. If they do fit, they still might hurt for a bit until the shoe gets worn in and you develop some callouses. Additionally, putting a band-aid on the spot that rubs before you put your shoes on will help. If it is really bothering you and no one can see the spot because you are wearing long pants, duct tape works way better than a band-aid.
This isn't just your feet, it happens to me and my friends all the time. Hope this helps!
Co-workers walked the Susan G Komen 3-day affair. They instructed them to use Vaseline on their feet and moleskin where contact does cause blisters. The Vaseline prevents the skin from hardening creating and creating friction.
