How can you tell what position baby is in?
When you're in the third trimester, how can you tell what position your baby is in while in your belly? (without asking a doctor or midwife, how do you do it yourself?)
Hmm, without ultrasound or a medical professional's advice it'd be tough. If you have a midwife or doula group in your area, you could contact them for advice, or an in-person visit.
Besides that, about all I can tell you is that roughly a week to just a few hours before labor starts, if the baby is properly turned head down, it should 'drop' into the birth canal. Mom should feel the weight slightly lower down, and feel major new pressure on the bladder.
