Yes it is. I was actually pulled off of the wrestling team for cutting too much weight and threatened with hospitalization if I didn't put it back on. Since I hated needles, and thus IVs, I chose the stuffing my face route. Being too thin can cause heart problems in both men and women, and serious health complications for women. I don't think that it's worse than being obese, but it's definitely running alongside of it.
