How long did it take before you felt like your old self?
I have been taking suboxen strips and the pill for about a yr now. I was taking up to three strips a day or more. Lately I have cut down to one or half in one day. I can go one day w/out taking anything but by the 2nd day the side effects are so bad I lay in bed all day I cant even cry I have a knot in my throat, when I can cry its pure pain and desperation wanting to feel like I did back bout 5yrs ago....What tips can you give me that can help me? Some people tell me its allin my head and I try to think that way that maybe if I put my mind to it I could feel normal again.
I wish I could tell you. I'm sorry that I don't have any personal experience with this issue. Congratulations on getting sober -- that is an excruciatingly difficult thing to do. Are you hoping to eventually get off the suboxen? Have you discussed it with your doctor? I wish I could I could offer you more.
Best wishes and hang in there. You have come this far!
