No you can't and won't die from having a tooth repaired. And no heart damage either. Anxiety and tooth problems are seperate issues.
I had a terrible time at the dentist a year ago. I had what amounts to an incredibly difficult extraction without anaeasthetic. I didn't die - despite how awful the whole thing was.
Have you heard of NSAIDs? Try one - if you know you won't have your stomach affected by taken them. Diclofenac is the best by far.
And calm down. Stop taking the wrong pain relief - take the right type. Make an appointment at the dentist. Explain your fear. They will be gentle and patient.
Talk to your doctor about the anxiety as it isn't good for you to be having anxiety attacks and then get your butt in to the dentist and get that tooth pulled.

I am hoping we have a Dentist on hubpages. Had a crown come off and painful. There was not a root canal ever done on this tooth. Saw a dentists today and received pain medicine, but...not working!!! Tooth on bottom, Pain on upper gums.
