    Intermittent Explosive Disorder

I've been having a lot of problem lately controlling  my IED.... I broke my hand yesterday punching a concrete wall and didn't even know I was doing it until my girlfriend came out and stopped me. Does anyone have any advise as to how to keep my rage under control? I don't hurt people and I NEVER want to hurt anyone but i'm starting to scare myself a little... Any advise would be great. Thanks!

Do you have a therapist? I would start there.

I would definitely talk to my doctor about this. Before jumping onto prescription medications, if that's what he/she suggests, ask if they know of any natural therapies that you could try first, like maybe working out when you get these overwhelming feelings or meditation or somethings other than drugs that usually are accompanied by negative side effects. Good luck to you.
