My second greatest emotional asset is hurt. Somehow, I manage to bring the pain I feel into my writing a lot easier than nearly any other emotion, or so I've been told.
My third greatest emotional asset is numbness. I don't know if that would be a great description of it, but I tend to go kind of numb in an emergency and when it is over fall apart.
Compassion. I listen to what people are saying and hear their heart in it. If there is anything I can do to encourage them, I will. The hardest part is not to let my compassion cloud my judgment and pull me into becoming too involved or feeling too responsible.
