Ever get the Winter Blues?
In winter life seems to slow down. Are you one of those that get depressed because of a lack of things to do in the snow and cold?
I live in a area that is gray most of the winter and part of spring and yes, winter depression is a terrible problem for me. i just try to hang on until the sun comes back. I would move to a sunny climate but my kids are here and I can't leave them, or the grandchildren.
I live in Michigan, and sometimes, I get the winter blues. I enjoy being outdoors but not in the winter time. I learned in a college nutrition class that the sunshine gives us a dose of Vitamin D, so in the winter months, we are usually indoors, which contributes to a Vitamin D deficiency.
There are a lot of great hubs written on this particular subject, and here is one that I very much liked: http://christopheranton.hubpages.com/hu … x-can-help
