What have you found to be your best sleep schedule?
Is your body wired to go to bed and get up at a certain time?
Ever since I had my son, my body is ready for bed at 7 pm. It used to be midnight, sometimes 1 am, but this kid has wrecked havoc on my old sleeping pattern. I figure once he gets into the swing of things I'll go to bed around nine or so and be up with him at six, but I'm still trying to get more than five hours of sleep a night, so I don't have the time to sacrifice just yet.
As much as I can. I normally do my best when I go to sleep around 11 or 12 at night and wake up around 8 or 9. This way I'm ready right when I wake up. However, fate is not too kind to my sleeping patterns.
For unknown reason, I am off service after nine! But I am up and running at six or even before, even the weekend.
Being retired, I don't get up until 9 or 10 a.m. Which means I can stay up past midnight if I want to write or work on a craft project. For creativity, this is the best time to think or play without any interuptions. When everyone is asleep, and the house is silent, this is when I do my best work.
My best sleep schedule is a nocturnal one. Since I have been able to live this way, I fall asleep and wake up with no issues around the same time every day. It's quite a blessing.
I love your schedule, Arlene! I don't do mornings well, either.
