Because our systems have gond through a little fast, which is why it's called; "break-fast" When we haven't eaten for 8-12 hour's on average, that, for us is a lot. So, our gastric juices are flowing, paricularly when hungry, and when our stomache's are empty. While our digestive systems need that break, it probably means, in part, that they're done with the break, & primed to eat now.
I don't feel nauseated in the morning. In fact the morning is one of the few times I have no appetite and often don't eat until noon.
Good question! I always feel nausea in the morning, probably due to just waking up, being tired. Breakfast and coffee usually helps.
