For prevention, eat enough citrus fruits and raw vegetables. The best natural antibiotics are the red grapefruit, olives and garlic.

I'm a big believer in supplementing with the amino acid L-glutamine to boost your immune system. I recommend taking at least 5g a day - more if you exercise intensely.
