What are some good herbal treatments for pain?
Herbal, as in, I might have it in my home or the yard. Yesterday I was working on something, and about finished with it. I decided to stretch, and something popped...or something...and now I have a stiff pain on my upper back, right at the base of my neck. Its a new sensation, as I'm somewhat young, and have never hurt myself doing relatively 'nothing'.
Willow bark is excellent for pain, provided you are not allergic to aspirin. However, there is a quick and easy solution for pain if you don't have that, most people have vapor rub in their house somewhere for when the cold season hits. Try rubbing some of that on your sore spot and let the heat dig deep. It may help unknot the muscles and thus ease the pain. Hope it helps.
