What are your personal attributes that help you achieve your short and long term goals?
I have always been really good at having patience when it comes to reaching a goal. Some goals can be way off in the future and take time to achieve. For example, going to college to help me achieve a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology. I also see it as a writer at Hubpages where it takes time to meet people and build good quality articles.
Achievement ... relates, Goals ... not terms ...
And I am quite "clear" in my Awareness, about The Terms,
that define, the Existential ... Reality.
In your Terms ... A "Clear Understanding of The Truth" could be
considered my "personal" ... Attribute ...
What in Terms of The Truth ... Is a Blessing, not a Personal Attribute.
I'm still working on achieving my long term goals. :-) However, I'm a bit on the stubborn side. I never ever give up! Determination knows my name. Being somewhat competitive also helps me in reaching short term goals.
I make a list of all my goals. Then I make sub headings and check them off as I accomplish each one. Thats kind of how my mind works. :-)
Being blessed with patience and persistence is a big plus. I don't mind making mistakes along the way. That's how I learn.
I think it would have to be grit and perseverance. I try not to give up even in the face of difficulty.
Hard work & destiny help me in achieving short term goals. being sincere with my work help me out in achieving long term goals.
I always believe in the following saying
" I go as far as I can see. When I go there, he(God) will show me further.Life is a I and Him Project"
So focus on short term goals with dedication which is currently visible and just have an idea about long term plans and move towards that.Long term is always an unknown territory. So move as far as you can see and you can see further once you move there.
I'm not the typical Capricorn who will endure, persist and keep on to achieve long-term goals -- too momentary, too eager, too sensible.. Just the opposite of the success-oriented Capricorn, a Cancer relies on his personal motivation, social relationships and inner powers to achieve his goals. Friends, both old and new, are his best assets, and they prove useful in the long run of life. Endowed with a dreamy nature, Cancer the Crab dreams the most astonishing, awe-inspiring, out-of-reach dreams; which may act as a double-edged blade upon his motivation : they might push him to reach even deeper into his powers to get one step closer to his dreams, empower him even more, or, by showing pictures of his desired life on and off, drive him into chronic depression, put him in a void space between his feelings and his desires -- his tunnel-reality and his aspirations.
The luckier a crab can get with this sinusoidal aspect of his astro sign is by having an ascendant sign that will act as a regulator for the major ups and downs of his ruling sun sign. Having a hardbrainer like Capricorn or neutralizer like Libra as the ascendant would help a lot, the latter fortunately being the case with me.
Still, I'm one of those crabs and I got a lot of friends. But is that enough? No, not really.
For better or for worse, it is my stubbornness. Once I have decided to meet a goal I work determinedly toward that goal. If there are hurdles, I try to figure out alternate paths to meet that goal. I rarely ever consider a goal unattainable, therefore, I consider my goals carefully before committing to them.
I'm passionate about the subjects I undertake. I understand we all have short term goals that take a longer time than long term. I'm patient. I realize long term goals take more work, research, and many of them can be a grand total of small steps that lead to an advance stage of accomplishment. I try to stay optimistic as possible.
