Insulin is a hormone that reacts to your bloodsugar levels. When levels are high(after eating alot of foods for example) Insuline is released. Insulin will signal the body to store energy. The energy will be stored where it is needed. First it will fill up your energy store of glycogen in the liver. When the liver is filled with glycogen your body will begin storing energy as bodyfat.

Why is sugar bad for you?For example orange juice has next to no fat in it, yet if you drink too much you can get fat from all the sugars? I don't quite understand how sugar makes you fat
