About if you were stranded on an abandon'd island.

If you were on an abandon'd Island, no food, or water to drink, what resource's would you use of the landscape to survive, or would you just give up and consider defeat?

I would not give up, I would try to collect rain water and condensation. Perhaps  would have to go vegetarian if there were no animals or fish to catch. But I would definitely make the effort to try.

I would do my best to survive.  I'd look for materials to build shelter.  If there was fruit availablenI wold eat that and if there were fish in the surrounding sea, I would try to catch those. That said, I think I would go mad pretty quickly.  I spent a weekend on a 13 square mile island once and couldn't wait to get off it.  Think I need people and shops and the bustle of a city too much.

Obviously whatever is available.  You should search the island and find anything you can that will be useful.  Definitely make a shelter first thing.

This question is more complicated than it appears. People have a survival instinct, anyone who is not already suicidal is going to do anything they can to survive. But but things like heat stroke and dehydration will warp the way your mind works so that you start doing things that are counter productive, such as trying to drink salt water or having bouts of desperate energy that deplete your resources.
