Do you believe that Stem Cell Research is good or bad and why?
I am torn by the issue of stem cell research. One one hand, it kind of seems like playing with God and farming human life. On the other hand, stem cell research could be revolutionary to curing many diseases and saving so many lives. If you were to force me to choose I would give the go ahead to stem cell research, but feel really bad about supporting it.
In the UK we have gone way beyond the research stage and are running full blown clinical trials aimed at a range of diseases and conditions incl. cardiac, Alzheimer's, and many others. I suspect you may find it good if you are affected but it is the future of medicine.
Kind regards Peter
I think that stem cell research might be good if it can cure diseases and help people. It could save lives that might otherwise be lost. It should only be used for the right reasons in helping others.
