   When you're lonely, how do you deal with it?
   
   Seems like everyday people are always strike with loneliness. Whenever you're in this situation, how do you deal with it?

   I turn on the radio, work on a puzzle, write a hub, visit a friend, etc.

      ^___^ Music is definitely a great way to get rid of loneliness. I'm practicing yoga meditation, and I have been taught that yoga sound (transcendental sound) is the best way in today's time to deal with loneliness and pain. :-)

      I've tried yoga and loved it. However, I could only do yoga with others around. So I've just kept with boxing mostly.

   This brings up one of my most profound weaknesses; I do not enjoy loneliness. When it happens I would do all most anything to minimize its duration (i.e. go to a cafe, visit a friend or even visit my in-laws...). Recently I have learned to embrace it; although keep in mind that our hosuehold has 3 daughters, a better-half, myself that would be the lesser half, 3 canines and 2 felines; therefore loneliness may perhaps be a state of envy... When opportunity strikes; that is, now when I am alone, I either get lost in reading and writing or reading or writing. I have come to enjoy the Liturgy of the Hours, so some of my time is spent in prayer...

      This is great sir.. After reading your answer, I thought of making a hub about what I have been reading lately, and it's about loneliness. Some of your answers were also pointed out in the book. :-)

   I hate being lonely. But there are times, you have to be alone. Being alone and being lonely, are two different things. You can be lonely, even when you are surrounded by people.
   I always keep myself busy in something or the other, when I am alone. Listening to light soulful music is my way of dealing with it. I also love reading, writing, painting and even going for a walk, when I am alone.

      I personally like being alone sometimes. Honestly, there are a lot of times that I long for it. It gives me the chance to introspect. Through introspection, we get to see our flaws or the things we must improve in our lives and in ourselves.  ^__^

   Use your loneliness to your advantage.  There might not be a time in your life where you are this lonely again.  Write, draw, play music, learn, explore and create.  You have all the time in the world.
